1983
In mei 1983 was de heer Zhang Jinzhang van mening dat het verbeteren van de algehele levenskwaliteit voortkomt uit de menselijke drang naar schoonheid. Vanuit zijn betrokkenheid en waardering voor vrouwelijke schoonheid richtte hij SHANG CHIAO Co., Ltd. op in Shetou Township, Changhua County. 1988
In 1988 ontdekte het R&D-team van SHANG CHIAO, op basis van jarenlange productie- en ontwikkelingservaring, dat veel werkende vrouwen last hebben van spataderen en vermoeide benen door langdurig staan. Het bedrijf was pionier in de ontwikkeling van elastische medische steunkousen en werd de eerste fabriek in het land die dergelijke producten produceerde, die zeer goed werden ontvangen door consumenten.

In 1988, with many years of manufacturing and R&D experience, the Shangchiao R&D team realized that female workers in Taiwan were prone to varicose veins and leg fatigue when they worked for long periods of time. They took the lead in introducing advanced professional machinery from Germany and Italy and began to develop healthy socks, becoming the first manufacturer of elasticated socks in Taiwan. During a trip to Germany, Zhang Jinzhang observed that Europeans were wearing sports socks. He believed that Taiwan’s sports population was growing and there were business opportunities in sports socks, so he combined medical and health socks and extended his reach to the fields of sports and fashion to create his own MBJ, a sports and health products brand, mainly produces functional socks, compression socks and sports protective gear, etc. It hopes to break away from traditional OEM and move towards a high-quality brand. MBJ has a first-class designer team, with strong arms as the brand concept, supporting the main visual "M" on both sides, emphasizing full coverage and comfort for users. MBJ compression stockings use progressive pressure to promote blood circulation, thereby accelerating the elimination of metabolites produced by exercise. They use compression to fix muscles that shake violently during exercise to reduce soreness. Appropriate pressure concentrates leg strength and improves endurance.
Business manager Rick Chang said that currently, pantyhose account for about 10% of Shangchiao's operating projects, therapeutic socks account for 40%, and sports socks account for 50%. Professional pressure socks and protective gear have become our main products and competitive advantages. Manager Zhang analyzed that Shangqiao invested in the research and development of compression socks earlier than its peers. It produces a wide variety of raw materials and has professional know-how. It has formed a reputation in the industry over the years. 30% of our products are sold domestically and 70% are exported, mainly to the United States and China, while India is a new market for our future planning.
